Clean warm cosy and good facilities that met our needs. Alex and team were extremely responsive helpful and polite when I contacted them so all our requirements were met. We stayed in the location for work purposes and I was able to work from the property. I liked the big fluffy bath towels also toiletries were nice, and environmentally friendly.

Very well built, light and airy flat. Luxurious soaps were a bonus as was the quality shower. Great to have separate areas rather than an 'all in one' studio. The Giant TV, definitely a highlight. Highly recommend!

Very good value, spacious and well appointed house with easy parking, very private and quiet area, huge beds and quality linen, plenty of towels, warm and easy responsive shower. Very large kitchen and dining area , good WiFi signal , helpful host. Recommended !

Lovely character house, in a great location - couple of mins from the shops & restaurants, 5 mins from the river. Beautifully decorated throughout, felt like a boutique hotel. Close to the Rowbarge pub but is a quiet local pub and we weren't bothered by noise at all. Hosts were very friendly and prompt to respond if we had any questions. Would definitely recommend!

The decor was impressive but the kitchen was poorly equipped giving the impression that most people eat out all the time. No cutting board or bread knife, broken scissors and no microwave.

The house itself is very warm and comfortable. It was very dirty and had not been cleaned from the previous tennant. It was supposed to have had a deep clean and Smarter rent thought this had been done, but it had not. There were many problems resulting in workmen needing to visit frequently for the first 2 weeks which was disruptive Smarter rent did respond and Alex and Heather kindly came round to visit and went through all the problems with us and did rectify these. There was no dishwasher, after alot of to and fro we were given a portable table top one. It was ok but only took x2 place settings and the dinner plates would not fit.They did kindly remove excess furniture we did not need so we could use the smaller bedroom as an office. It was a nice location near the county park which was great for our dog. It is an extortionate price for whats its worth but seems to be the going rate for the area. The neighbours were very helpful and kind.

Beautiful place! Host was very responsive and the unit was cozy and up-kept. Only thing I would suggest is for extended stays longer than a few weeks it’d be nice to give guests access to basic cleaning supplies other than a vacuum (sprays, paper towel/toilet paper/laundry pod refills, duster). Or atleast an option for a mid-stay clean! Otherwise it was a great stay!

Location was perfect for work commitments, and the house was lovely and comfortable as advertised. The only issue was the cleaning cost £109.00 for a 2 night stay was a bit excessive! The property was clean and comfortable but for that cost it was wasn’t perfect, and dusty in areas. I would usually empty bins and strip the beds before leaving but felt I had pre paid for this service.

We had an amazing stay, the flat is so well equipped with everything you need for a longer stay. It’s walking distance to so many shops, coffee shops and the train station - overall fantastic location. The apartment was clean and beautifully furnished. The team at Smarter Rent was super helpful and friendly, we had no issues for the duration of our stay

As a single female traveller new to the UK I had some difficulty with some features (I.e., locks on the door and using the hot water) Alex was very responsive and even got a handyman out to assess the situation very quickly. Place was clean and looked like the pictures. I arrived late at night so it was a bit tricky to see the sign. But asked a friendly local and he helped me. Great location, surrounded by pubs and shops. Planning on returning. Thank you again for your wonderful assistance and customer service.
