Lovely place, great location, can get very hot inside as there are lots of mosquitoes by the lake and so we couldn’t open the windows on the front side. Great walks, swimming, tennis, football. The pub on site is quite pricey.

The property is in an excellent location, and was as described - we stayed for 3 nights. However, there were some issues with the agency managing this property. The day we were supposed to check in, I received a call from the property management agency, stating that they had a scheduled ‘inspection’ during my stay. I was being asked to let people into the property, or leave a key for them - and they would require several hours of access to the property. The explanation given was very hard to understand. Despite me voicing concerns about this, they refused to reschedule this (I was scheduled to check out the next day anyway) until I got AirBnB support involved. I then independently discovered that the property was listed for sale at the time of my stay. The best part - I got a call the next day asking me to leave a good review. There was also a lack of some basics - e.g. there was no soap of any kind in the bathroom, the shampoo was also out. I had to buy these things myself.

Perfect location - with parking which is a huge bonus. Eton and Windsor just a few steps away. This apartment had everything I needed and more for me and my baby to enjoy our stay. Communication was very good. Flat just as described and immaculate. Thank you

It is hard to fault it really. The three downstairs bedrooms are great but be aware that the upstairs one is a bit small for twin beds. We had a single person in there which was OK. Very well equipped kitchen with enough knives to please Michel Roux and a sharpener too! Location is good on the site. We were delighted that the pool was free entry and only 5 minutes away. We stayed in with the doors closed in the evening as the weather was cool so the midges weren’t a problem but you may have to slap on some repellant in the summer.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Amberwood on Shorefield Country Park. We were 5 adults, 3 children and a small dog and, although cosy, comfortably all fit in well in the lodge, which was extremely spacious in the living area, bathroom and kitchen when we came together. Bedrooms were good size & we found the beds comfortable with fabulously clean and cosy linen. The kitchen is well equipped and we enjoyed many home cooked meals around the large dining table. The kitchen had plentiful, quality utensils and ample crockery, glasses and pans were supplied. The location on the park, for us, was perfect and enjoyed fishing on the lake. We liked being at the quieter end of the park but it is a bit of a walk to the club, pool and shop but easy to drive & park there. The woodland walk was great and we all enjoyed a few walks into Milford via the wood. We have stayed at Shorefield a couple of times - Amblewood is by far the best we have stayed & would definitely stay again. Thank you !

Excellent place to stay Better than the pictures Lovely places to eat and drink ! Only one slight recommendation with having a pet to stay, was the garden is open to the road. Not an issue for us but maybe something to think about with others. The cleanness of the house was 11/10 ! Thankyou

We loved our week here - the house was spotless and very cosy, and we felt immediately at home. The house had everything we needed and some more, and having a parking space was a really nice feature. Lots of shops and restaurants around, and delivery services also have good offers if you want to order in. Great accesses to London and everywhere else, by car or train. Would definitely recommend!

The house was fairly easy to find and the check in instructions was straight forward. I did email to clarify which parking space we was able to use but this was answered very quickly (even on a bank holiday!) Inside the house was very clean and had everything we may have needed for a stay. Having a couple small bottles of milk in the fridge for us was very nice to have a hot drink until we were able to get to the supermarket as well as supplying some tea bags, coffee & sugar. We did comment how quiet the house was as well which is very nice. Only a few very small negatives: a lamp in the living room would be nice for the evenings instead of using the main light, a place in the bathroom to hang wet towels after a shower & the shower water pressure is not the best. However we really enjoyed our stay and wouldn’t hesitate to stay again. Thank you!

Location, location, location! Beautiful views of The Thames from the balcony, a multitude of restaurants at your doorstep, convenient location to Overground and buses to take you anywhere, fabulous for walkers and dogs. The bedrooms were of good size. The kitchen was definitely lacking in certain what I consider to be essentials, particularly for a long term rental (no coffee maker, no garlic press, no small frying pan, minimal serving dishes, etc.). The en-suite bathroom needs an update. Overall we would stay again and do recommend this property.

Liked the house and it's location is great but the set up is not for everyone as the bedrooms are on the ground floor and the living room & kitchen are upstairs so not easy when you have a big food delivery to get it all up the stairs. Lovely views from the living room though over the lake . Nice bathroom towels provided which was appreciated.

Beautiful house, will definitely be staying again. The garden could do with a patio set of some sort because it was lovely weather when we stayed but couldn’t sit outside. And if you stay here take your own dishwasher tablets and everything for washing machine because there wasn’t anything given so had to buy our own. Very cosy house on a lovely street.

We booked last minute as a family of 4 (two kids under 5) and had a lovely time. The lodge was clean and all essentials were provided (just not shower gel). Plenty of games and puzzles for 4 and over were available and the place felt really homely and spacious. A travel cot was provided (although we were told that one wouldn’t be so had also packed our own) and the location is in a lovely quiet spot. The only downside was that it’s quite a distance from the shop/restaurant/pool etc which meant it wasn’t walkable in bad weather with two little ones but this wouldn’t put us off from booking again. The woodland walk right near the lodge with fairy doors etc was a lovely surprise that our eldest absolutely loved. Would recommend as a place to stay and a great location to explore the New Forest.

This is a very clean and functional place to stay. The location is great, only about a 25 minute walk to the city center, and plenty of places to shop or buy groceries nearby, with the train station only a 5 minute walk away. The neighborhood was quiet at night, and in a safe location. The only issue we had was related to figuring out the towel rail in the bathroom, which took couple of days, but we were given good instructions, and eventually it worked for us. We would stay again!

This is a lovely one bed apartment in Eton, a short walk to Windor and local amenities. The living space is lovely and spacious with comfy couch and nice TV, and the bedroom has good storage and a comfy bed. The kitchen is well supplied with all the utensils you might need for a short break and the bathroom has a fantastic shower. The apartment is pet-friendly and we stayed with our cat for one week. We had some small issue with parking occasionally our space was taken by someone else, and also opening the lockbox for keys was very stiff, but we got there eventually. Thank you for hosting us for a week!

The apartment was lovely, spotless and really near the train station. We weren't able to access the really huge tv, even gor terrestial channels until my kids made me subscribe to netflix (and still couldn't get bbc, channel 4). The early check out without ability to leave luggage was a definite disadvantage over a hotel

An impeccable house but a little soulless and lacking in homely touches e.g no salt, pepper, oil in the kitchen and hand soap in the toilet/bathroom. It is clear this house is run by an agency and not by an individual. Bedding and towels beautiful and everything very comfortable, but the inactive boiler and lack of hot water for our arrival wasn't helpful after a 1400 km drive from France. Very difficult to get assistance out of hours too. I was put off by the parking space half a mile away at the station - admittedly my own fault for not spotting this in the notes, but something else that wasn't very practical or helpful after a long drive. In summary, a lovely stay but a few simple things that could be rectified to make a big difference.
