The house is very smelly and rundown. All items in the kitchen were grubby; for example, the cheese grater still had cheese on it, cups had stains, and oven trays still had food on them in the cupboard. The toilet seat was also completely broken. We messaged the host, who quickly responded and tried to organize a handyman for the toilet, but they were not available. We were also offered another clean, which we decided against since we were leaving the next morning and had our stuff around. The location is good. It's about a 30-minute walk into the center of Cambridge and close to some nice restaurants and stores.

Some issues with cleaning rotas on check in, that were rectified by the team. They were friendly once contacted and did what they could to help us settle in, however given this was a honeymoon stay we were very disappointed by the experience. Location great, we are local anyway so knew the spot would be good, and it was nice to be able to show our friends around!

The price is based on 8 people. I booked last minute so it was cheaper and I had it all to myself. what an amazing place to stay and its so peaceful. I would be more than happy to stay again..

The lodge is spacious and very well presented. It is on a large holiday park, however, it is situated in a very quiet and peaceful area well away from the more crowded part of the site. The on site facilities, indoor pool, spa, restaurant bar, shop are quite a walk away but an easy short drive, all modern and well cared for. Site staff were friendly and helpful. The walk to the beach is quite a long way, not easy for less mobile people, but there is a short cut to the left of Amberwood which cuts of quite a bit of the walk. We had never been to a holiday park before but thoroughly enjoyed it and are looking forward to returning next year. Our party was 4 Adults (2 of which have some difficulty with walking longer distances being of more mature years) and a 3 year old child, we all had a very relaxing holiday.

Lovely house with modern decor and very clean & tidy. Checkin was very easy with clear instructions provided beforehand. Quiet location with a lovely garden to enjoy the warm weather and it was great to park just outside the house.

This was a very last minute booking for birthday celebrations with the family due to another property not being available last minute. Abbie was great and so quick with her response and helpful information allowing us a quick change and booking of this wonderful house. The house was fantastic with the most amazing views, simply stunning! House itself was lovely and spacious with everything we needed for a great stay. The spot on the lake was absolutely perfect. The house itself was lovely and clean with everything in the kitchen you would possibly need if you chose to stay in and cook. The resort of Lower Mill Estate was absolutely stunning with lots to do in a peaceful and relaxed environment. The spa and pools were fantastic, the weather helped! We will most definitely be back!

The location worked out perfectly. My Daughter had a work placement at Nine Mile Vet Hospital. She could walk to work in 15 mins. Also near shops and a 10 min taxi to train station so she was able to visit family and friends easily.

flat was lovely and location great, however by being provided with the incorrect car park access code meant that we also could not gain access to the flat entrance keys that were in a key box in the parking space. We only obtained the correct code from another occupier and being 9pm at night this took a while and delayed access by 30 minutes.

Stayed here with my family and the pictures do not do this place justice. It’s beautiful in the most beautiful location. Short drive into town where you can find lots of good pubs and restaurants along the river. The house itself was lovely with fresh linen, enough towels & hangers for all & plenty of space for all. Can’t wait to return again one day! :)

Communication with SmartRent was great - Abbie was very attentive and we were grateful of an early check in! Although we were aware we asked for an earlier check in (we only arrived an hour before usual) - we were surprised that the carpets were sopping wet in some places, meaning we couldnt take our shoes off for around 2 days. A few of the bedrooms also smelt noticeably of smoke and living room had a smell of body odour stuck in the cushions (must of been previous renters). The house its self lacks some homely touches -such as no tea or coffee was provided or even a welcome pack which would of been nice after a 7 hour drive, but not the end of the world. House is described on air BnB for families but they do not provide any travel cots or anything for children in the house - so please note if travelling with babies/toddlers like us. Slightly overpriced for how basic it is but overall happy with our stay! Big beds and lots of space!!

Another excellent stay in Alex's property. We did have a minor issue with the hot water which was rectified promptly especially as it was a Bank Holiday with great communication throughout. A great place to stay with great places to visit within walking distance. Look forward to our next stay.
