A fabulous apartment in a really nice quiet, safe area. The apartment is super close to the station and town centre. It has everything you need and check in/out was very straight forward. If I need somewhere to stay in Maidenhead again, I sure will be back! Thank you!!

Wonderful location - this was our third time back to Lower Mill Estate and we were so very excited. As soon as we entered the property we were so disappointed with the cleanliness! Being a host myself to 13 properties I was shocked how it was left - we had a huge fly infestation what the hosts tried to put it out to the windows being open at the evening came to a draw. We spoke to neighbours next door who did not have a problem with flies and also noted the previous guests complained about flies within the property. It was so sad that two of our party members left on the first night due to their room was inhabitable. Would highly recommend staying at Lower Mill Estate but not at this property unless the house get deep cleaned!

The location is wonderful and the spa at Lower Mill is great. The property did have a lot of spiders in the vaulted lounges c. 30+ which would on occasion drop down on us, so not great for anyone with a fear of spiders. Unfortunately we experienced a few issues which disrupted our holiday. I think the property being managed by an agent who is not local has its drawbacks as basic checks were not made prior to our arrival such as; the oven not working, which resulted in a number of engineer visits which interrupted our stay and left us without a large working oven until our last evening. We had requested the last visit not to take place given it was at lunchtime on our last day, however, the agent did not respond and the engineer turned up. There was no lock on the child gate on the upper balcony and a number of lightbulbs were missing and/or were not fitted. I mentioned the above issues on our first full day and was advised they would be rectified but they were not. The cushions for the outside furniture were left out so were very wet and dirty by the time we arrived and not useable for the stay. On the whole the property was good, spacious with lovely views over the lake. It was just frustrating that things were overlooked by the agents which could have been avoided and resulted in a disrupted family holiday. It is also disappointing that prior to my last email conveying my disappointment, I would get a swift response usually within a couple of hours, however, it has been more than 24 hours and I have yet to hear back.

We were here for an entire month and would gladly come back! Great location with a quick walk to the train station and easy access to London and Cambridge. Went into London for work twice a week so this was a great place for us to use as a base for an entire month. Apartment itself was nice and comfortable, well equipped, ground floor flat so easy access to the courtyard. Neighbours are also very friendly! The apartment block is also quiet so no noise complaints here! The town itself is a short 15 min walk. Highly recommend this place for anyone!

The location is good and close to rail station and city centre. The booking allow to arrange 2 single beds for my children in a room. This is a plus! The management staff was nice that came the place to fix the thing quick that I asked. Can access to the grass land open area from the living room.

This property is in a great location. Everything has been modernized and is in great condition. The appliances are all of good quality and it has both a washer and dryer which is very useful with kids. There is ample parking and we never had trouble finding a spot. Internet speed was good. The main negative is this property is extremely small. The pictures are misleading and make it appear much larger than it is. There is also a piano in the reception room that takes up some space, that was not in the pictures.

We had a wonderful stay in Henley. The cottage is beautiful, well furnished and the kitchen well equipped with quality cookware and utensils etc. The beds were very comfortable and we had good night sleep. There is a pub across the road which could be fairly noisy at times, but overall we slept really well. The location is great with a 2 minute walk to the centre, which has many great cafes, bars and restaurants. Guaranteed parking space is provided at the train station which is a 15 minute walk from the accomodation, but still within the central area of the town. There is very limited parking right outside the cottage and we managed to park there the majority of the time, but it is first come first served. The nature and age of the cottage means that many floors are sloping and the stairs are probably not suitable for young children, although we thought these features greatly added to the character. We would definitely look to book again.

Such a beautiful cottage footsteps from market place and Gail’s for fresh bread and lattes; across the street from one of the best pub gardens in Henley and a short 7-min walk to the Thames. This lovely house fit 3 of us comfortably and definitely would hold a 4th. Modern and beautiful kitchen with all the fixtures you’d need; period beams; a lovely little patio garden out the back, it was truly a gorgeous cottage brimming with character and style. Will be back!

Cleaning can be better, inc. carpet cleaning, bath tub drainage blocking. Stairs are too old, cracking noise when step on. Location is quiet, better to have a car to go shopping or Woking. Nice walk in nearby canal.
