We had a pleasant stay overall. The house itself was lovely, very clean, and in a great location. It was clear that the property is well maintained, but the kitchen could do with some fresh paint. We enjoyed our stay there however, a few things that could be improved. We arrived late Thursday to find the bins were already full, yet we were asked to take them out on the Friday morning, something I feel the cleaning crew should have done and didn’t seem fair. The bathrooms though lovely didn’t provide any shower gel, shampoo, or conditioner. While this isn’t essential, these small touches would make the stay feel more welcoming. The garden was attractive, but there was no outdoor furniture, so we weren’t able to make use of it, which was a shame. We also found that the TV remote had no batteries. We had to buy our own, and after contacting the host, we were told that batteries aren’t supplied. Given that the remote can’t be used without them, this felt like an unnecessary inconveni
