  Overall we had a nice stay . House was nice and clean however some of the essentials at an airbnb stay were missing. Simple things like sponge to wash dishes, shampoo and soap, mini plastic bags for bathroom bin , toilet papers ( there was only one and a half roll of papers) ,. I understand that it is not a hotel stay but when you do late check in in a small town like Wokingham, you can not easily find open groceries/markets after 20:00 o’clock. Next day I requested some of the missing items and Alex said he would have them delivered. Noone showed up whole one week of our stay. When I complained about it , Alex said he is managing 100 properties like this and I should understand situations like this. Well I understood. Would I ever book the same place again ?   This Flat was as described. Perfect location literally a few minutes walk from the main area with bars, pubs and restaurants. It was clean, there were a few scuff marks on the wall and one of the blinds had a bent plank but other than that was an amazing stay.

  We stayed to celebrate a parent’s 80th and it was the ideal set up for 3 generations. Lovely quiet location within the park and everything needed for a comfortable stay. The country park itself is very well maintained and the facilities are great for a family.

  The property is in an ideal location in the very lovely and interesting area of Eton and Windsor. Alex our host was also very helpful and replied promptly to our enquiries A very short walk across the footbridge and you are immediately next to Windsor castle, the beautiful river and plenty of things to see and do.   We had a great stay in Alex’s place. The house was exactly as listed, fantastic location with great view. Property had all required modern amenities with a very well equipped kitchen. Great living space with huge double height ceiling to take in the amazing view. Great balcony to relax and watch the wildlife. Downstairs the terrace with furniture was a lovely area to sit. Bathrooms were well equipped with plenty of hot water and great showers. Parking was convenient directly outside. Lower Mill Estate is a great development, well designed with a restaurant, activities hub and spa. The only downside was the gym doesn’t open until 10am but the indoor pool was great and easy to access, all included in the stay. We would highly recommend Alex’s place, spacious, modern and a view to remember, will hopefully return soon.

  We stayed for 4 nights, what a great location in the heart of Eton and just off the high street. Just a 5-10 minute walk from the centre of Windsor and all that had to offer inc shops, restaurants, bars and the castle itself. We took advantage of the open top bus tour and also a 2 hour cruise on the Thames which we thoroughly recommend. We loved our stay which was to celebrate my wife’s 60th birthday and thank Alex for providing a lovely place to stay and for being a great host.

  The place is spacious, clean and close to town centre, which was convenient for us.The steps were not a problem for us, but finding the right flat was a bit confusing as there was no flat number on the door. I would have appreciated some basic toiletries like hand wash in the toilet but that was not a deal breaker. Got to meet the next door neighbour, they did not seem very happy about having an Airbnb next door and sort of made us feel unwelcomed. Hence we stopped using the communal garden which was not convenient because we have a dog. Having said that, the place itself is great, I would have given it a five star, if I were to only stay indoors.

  The lodge is lovely and our party of 6 all agreed that we thought the location and site were perfect for our needs, we did have an issue with no hot water for the first 24hrs which we did finally manage to resolve with the help from the site maintenance team.   We had a lovely 4 night stay, lodge was situated in a lovely peaceful quiet part of Shorefield country park and a close walk to the beach. Lots of room for 8 of us and the dog. It is quite a walk to the main amenities but a short drive if you don’t fancy walking. The lodge had everything we needed, spotlessly clean, lots of storage, lovely comfortable beds and cosy bedding. Lovely outside area to sit and enjoy the sun. Kids enjoyed the swimming pool and the evening entertainment. Staff were friendly in the restaurant and bar areas. Thanks for a lovely stay we would definitely return.

  Lovely property in a great location on the Lower Mill Estate. Lots of space and helpful extras e.g. utility and cupboard for storing coats/ equipment etc. Tip for families if staying in holiday periods - if you want to book tennis courts/ MUGA/ dinner in the lovely restaurant do that as soon as you arrive to ensure you have the slots that work for you. Great for kids with bikes too - they can cycle around the site and there are some lovely safe trails.
