Great place to stay. Perfect location walking distance to Windsor castle and the Windsor shopping / restaurant area. Beautiful strip of river for walks very close. Neat and tidy inside. Just one thing, there are 2 flights of stairs to get to the apartment. The listing gave the impression it was a first floor unit. It was fine for us but could be an issue for others.

We were stuck in Reading without a place to stay. We needed a place to rest and recuperate from being ill. This property came up with a discount and we snapped it up. It was exactly what the doctor ordered: very comfortable and clean, near to center of town and very close to the Waitrose where we could get what we needed. Mostly we slept on the very comfortable beds and pillows and were infinitely grateful. When able we walked about Henley and enjoyed the Thames path. Definitely the right place to stay in Henley, even if you aren't feeling ill like we were!

The team at smarter rent took really good care of us during my parents stay at the property in Eton. There were a few niggles early on which were promptly sorted and we felt at home thereafter until the end of our stay. I highly recommend Turks Head Court in Eton to anyone looking for a medium / longer term stay.

Excellent flat in an ideal location close to all amenities, Windsor Castle and beautiful restaurants. Free parking was an added bonus. Flat was as described and exceeded our expectations. The location was beautiful and very relaxing. There is much to do in the estate, such as kayaking or visiting the spa. The home was also beautiful, mostly very clean and had a great view of the lake. One thing I would mention is the additional bedding wasn’t clean (full of stains etc) but wasn’t a huge infringement. overall a highly rated stay :D

We had a lovely stay at Cobblestones. It was perfect for our family holiday. We had planned to have a restful time walking on the beach and in the forest with our two dogs. The enclosed garden was perfect for the dogs one of which is a mini dachshund and a bit of an escapologist! So all good there. The cottage was well equipped and clean . I would recommend this for a family stay.

we really enjoyed our one month stay! There was an unpleasant dog smell in the house when we checked in, however when informed, the agency arranged for another cleaning service immediately. Definitely recommend the place as it is near to the city center, train station and all prominent places.

A good place for an emergency long stay. Hosting company extremely responsive and helpful. Only problem was the bathroom which needs to be entirely re-done (damp and black mold). A dehumidifier was very promptly delivered to the property which helped and the company has said the bathroom is being re done soon. Mentioning it in case future renters have asthma or some such problem. Otherwise a very nice central place, dog friendly and walkable to the station and 15 minutes from town. Also a carpark space which was great. Thank you for having us!

This was a beautiful location to spend a weekend, unfortunately we were disappointed with the accommodation facilities. Both bathrooms were in need of some TLC. We were notified the day before we were due to arrive that the main shower in the shower room was out of action and couldn’t be fixed until the day we left. We were given an allowance but the situation was very disappointing. The shower I the en-suite bathroom was more like a shower head for rinsing your hair. There was no wall fixing or shower curtain. This was totally inadequate for 5 adults and 1 teenager. There were no cushions for the outside furniture as shown in the photos. Outside decking area and spiral staircase were poorly maintained. That said the rest of the house was good with everything you require for your stay. The bed linen and towels were of good quality.

I spent a wonderful week here, running along the nearby River Thames to Kingston in the peaceful environment every morning. The house is spacious, and there is ample parking space. Also provided detailed preparation materials.

The property is in a beautiful setting and perfect for our family holiday. The kitchen was well equipped (we especially enjoyed the wine fridge!) and all the bedrooms were very comfortable with plenty of towels. The only reason for a 4* review is that we reported that the shower was faulty on our first morning and it wasn’t fixed for the duration of our trip. The spa passes were also missing from the property and did not arrive while we were there either. The team was in constant communication with us about it though and we were offered a partial refund for the shower issue which we were happy with. Overall we had a great holiday and would definitely return to the Lower Mill Estate.
