An excellent base for Milford and the New Forest (about a 5 minute walk into the town and a 10 minute drive to Lymington). The house has everything we needed - great to have the 2 bathrooms - and it was warm and cosy on chilly March nights. Milford has many eating venues; we'd recommend The Cave for tapas and friendly service, and Saltwater for excellent breakfasts.

Gorgeous and perfectly clean large house. Comfortable beds with soft linen and towels. Powerful shower. Good for up to 2 families of 4. Amazing views and wildlife. Decent wifi and appliances. Dog friendly and a car park space right outside front door. Swimming pool and spa included is first class.

My stay here was fantastic. It's an ample space for one or two people, a nice neighbourhood, excellent furnishing, and a well equipped kitchen. There were a few excellent touches like a really comfy sofa and armchair and some very nice toiletries provided. All that said, the customer service was what really made the stay exceptional for me; the mattress was brand new and - at first - was rock solid to the point where I had a painful first night. The Smarter Rent team were incredibly helpful and upon my request of a mattress topper, offered to get me one delivered the next day or to reimburse me for one I bought. I chose the latter option, and I'm pleased to say the bed is now incredibly comfortable, sporting a nice and thick memory foam topper, for which I was reimbursed promptly and without difficulty, even when I managed to get the wrong size the first time! The team were also great when I accidentally locked myself out later in the week, offering to drop off the spare key and then staying late at the office to facilitate me picking it up and returning it. I would recommend this place to anyone!

Thank you for our stay! We had a fantastic time - the place was perfect for all of our needs. Lovely big open living area for eating, games and watching a movie all together. Both families, all ages ranges had a blast. Plus a great walk around the lake for when the sun shone and access to a swimming pool when it didn't. We would definitely recommend trying to book early for your swimming slots. Also the communication from the team was excellent with very speedy response to any of our questions. Thanks again!

We had a lovely couple of days here. The view is beautiful, I would imagine in the summer it would be great to get out on the lake. The house is perfectly clean and comfortable with nice extra touches. The kitchen is kitted out well with equipment but also all the basics like cloths, dishwasher tablets, tea and coffee, even a little bottle of milk in the fridge. Great Indian head massage in the spa. Do book your time slots in the pool in advance of your stay. We had a lovely meal in the cafe too. Thumbs up all round!

This place is just perfect for a quite calm getaway. The location is great...its quite, calm...right behind longmoor lake. A perfect area to get the dogs some fresh air. The team is so lovely aswell. On our first night the wifi was acting up, but we only noticed this at 9/10pm, but the team responded so quickly and were more than happy to help. The very next morning they hand delivered a wifi booster, which sorted that out. The living space is so clean and has everything you need to feel at home. It's well equipped with the necessary toiletries and kitchen utensils. The bed is firm but comfortable I highly recommend this place! 1 thing to note is the location of the place, its behind a house and google maps doesnt pick this up very well. Also because its in such a calm area near the country park, phone network signals are a bit weak. which is great for those looking to disconnect online, but is something to bare in mind if you're working and need strong internet speed (but its not too far from cafe's so an easy 10 minute drive would cater to this) Thank you to the team for having us!

A beautiful property, very clean, amazing location and view, very warm and comfortably sat 7 people in the evening, the kitchen was much better kitted out with utensils etc than anywhere else i've stayed, great hosts, very responsive and helpful, we will certainly be coming back in the Summer!

This was my second stay with Lisa and once again I have nothing but lovely things to say. The house was so cute and cosy and nicely decorated. I love all the design touches and there was everything I needed like pots and pans, etc. The area was great, quiet, safe and the level of cleanliness is always perfect upon check in. Lisa and the team are so helpful and have made my time here perfect, thank you so much :)
