The listing was accurate and the house was spacious. The view out onto the lake was lovely. Thr communication from the host was good and checkin was easy. There is a bridge between the property and the overflow car park. There is often a heron chilling out there and we saw a kingfisher multiple times, once we even saw it catch a fish. Our opinion on the Balihoo restaurant was that it was overpriced. It's trying to be fancy but some of the dishes were underwhelming. You have access to the Spa pool as well as a separate outdoor pool and sauna. We used the spa pool and you need to book well in advance. You can manage and cancel your booking online. The pool would be very crowded with it's full capacity of 60 people. However, when we went there only about 20 and 30 people - despite it being fully booked online. The property was a little hard to find in the dark because the signs weren't lit (nature reserve) and some were only facing one way, so we only saw the useful information after having explored an area and then turning around.

You'll be staying in a lovely spacious, well maintained and clean bungalow, with extra space in the log cabin. Milford on sea is an absolutely fabulous base and we attended Bournemouth Christmas Market and Beaulieu Motor Museum. The local amenities are also great for a small town. Lovely fish and chip shop, The lazy lion had great breakfasts. The smugglers Inn also had great food

Very clean with the coast being a 10 minute walk away. Lots of nice restaurants and boutique shops in Milford, again easily within walking distance. It would be excellent value for six people, it remains good value for two.

Great accommodation, well stocked kitchen and welcomed essentials on arrival. Superb location for getting out and about. The pool and spa get booked up extremely quickly so you will need to book well in advance of your stay. The photos absolutely reflect the property, you wont be disappointed.

Great little house at a great price. Tucked away in a surprisingly quiet spot it really did provide a home from home whilst we had refurbishment works completed on our house. All the essentials, very clean, comfortable beds, endless hot water and well equipped. In addition plenty of parking, can easily have 3 cars, and the neighbours are lovely too. The team were very responsive with enquiries, I really can’t recommend this Airbnb highly enough.

This delightful two bed property is tastefully furnished and decorated. It is equipped with everything you need for your stay. It is in a good location. The area is quiet and it is hard to believe that you are within walking distance of a large Sainsbury’s and Homebase. There good transport links nearby.

The location of the house is central to the Lower Mill amenities and the house is very well equipped, there were even some basics left in the fridge for our arrival. The house has the most magnificent view over the lake and the balcony furniture invites you to just relax and take in the views. The house is clean and bright, lots of ventilation and was a joy to stay in. Lisa was receptive to questions prior to booking and was on hand during our stay too. A very comfortable property in a convenient location. There is a recently refurbished kitchen and all rooms are freshly painted and carpeted. Parking is not available on site, but there is a quiet road at the side of the house where space was usually available. We had a lovely stay. Thank you!

The bungalow was a perfect base to enjoy the area. It had everything we needed and the location was great for exploring the walks and local bars pubs and restaurants. The local area is great for walks both long and short and with the beautiful New Forest on your door step there is always something to do and see.

I stayed at this Airbnb for a month. The check-in was easy and the place was absolutely immaculate. For a stay of this length the Airbnb had everything in abundance I needed, towels, bedding, etc. The kitchen had more than enough silverware and plates and glassware, microwave and oven. The beds were comfortable and the area was very quiet. Host responded promptly to any queries I had and was very approachable. A short walk to Hitchin town center. Overall an excellent Airbnb.

We stayed here for 5 nights at the end of September and, overall, we enjoyed our visit. The location of the property is peaceful and very scenic, especially as the property overlooks a lake. Although the property was roomy enough for our group of 4, it would be a very tight squeeze for 8 guests, as the bedrooms are compact and there are only 2 bathrooms (one of which being an ensuite). The Lower Mill Estate, where the property is located, offers a swimming pool and spa, which we were very happy to use. However, the indoor pool capacity (currently 60 people per slot) should be reconsidered as, although the pool is large, it would be difficult to swim and quite uncomfortable at full capacity, especially given Covid-19 health and safety measures. We also felt that the property itself could do with a little TLC - a more thorough cleaning would be needed all round, particularly in the outdoor spaces, e.g. the balcony.

My partner and I stayed here with our dog while we waited to complete on our house move. The house is immaculate, newly renovated to a high standard and is really well equipped for longer stays. Loads of storage (even for all of our moving boxes) and large rooms to relax in. Bed is comfy, good shower, quiet area, parking right outside. Couldn’t have asked for more for the price. We extended our stay when our move was delayed and the team was excellent in accommodating us.
