  I just happened upon this listing last minute and I couldn't have been more pleased. This is my first time to the UK and Windsor was the first place I visited outside of London and I fell in love with it. Communication with Alex was efficient, we had a snag getting in as someone had left one of the keys to unlock the door inside, but Alex walked us through it. We actually ended up extending our stay twice because we loved the area so much. The people are very friendly, and the town is beautiful. For the hosts, some hooks inside the front door for wet jackets would help immensely :). For future guests something to note, the listing says there are 1.5 bathrooms but there is only one.

  We had a pleasant stay overall. The home is cosy and true to the photos, with everything you need in the kitchen to cook and clean comfortably. The location is fantastic, just a short walk to the town centre and a lovely route along the canal. Parking was easy to find nearby, and the neighbours were incredibly friendly and helpful, even sharing local info like bin collection days. The only real downsides were the unreliable internet and a few missing essentials. The Wi-Fi connection was slow and kept dropping out, which made it difficult to work during the day or stream TV in the evenings. The hosts were responsive, but it took a bit of back and forth before an engineer was sent, and unfortunately, the issue wasn’t fully resolved. Also, for a longer stay (we were three adults for nine nights), it would have been nice to have a few more basic supplies like extra toilet rolls and hand soap. Overall, a comfortable stay in a great location, just a few tweaks away from being perfect.

  Terrible communication from the hosts, several different people trying to deal with the problem who do not communicate. No working oven throughout the stay despite many attempts to get it fixed. Guests had to knock on the neighbour's door to get keys to the garage at night because the power was tripped and the hosts did not have keys to the garage.

  Lovely cosy apartment in a nice quiet little building set back from the road which is a 5-10 min walk over the bridge from Windsor town centre. The flat is 1 of 6 in a building so at times you can hear others as well as pets but everything I encountered inside was to a good standard. The sofa was very comfy, kitchen was kitted to a good standard, bedroom is spacious although bedframe is a little squeaky and pillows a little deflated for my liking. The water pressure in shower was amazing and bathroom mirror excellent for us ladies when doing our makeup. Had no issues heating up the apartment as radiators respond fast and windows open fully should you want fresh air. Would stay here again - thankyou

  A really lovely place to stay, I could have stayed forever. No shower gel in the bathroom, which was the only problem. Really nice neighbourhood, quiet and parking is right outside the door. Lots of space, light and clean. Plenty of supplies in the kitchen, genuinely could live here.

  Two things we love this place: 1. It’s very walkable to the city Centre and this city has everything, from waitrose to waterstone to many many restaurants. 2.
